Armed Robbery at Tacketts Mill

Three victims report parking lot incident to Prince William County Police.

 

Prince Wiliam County Police are on the lookout for two unknown individuals in an armed robbery Wednesday night near the Tacketts Mill shopping center, according to police spokesman Jonathan Perok.

Officers responded at 10:01 p.m. to the 2200 block of Tacketts Mill Drive. Three victims, all of Lorton, told police they were walking to their car in the parking lot when two men approached them.

One of the robbers was holding a handgun and demanded money. The robbers fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. No injuries were reported. 

A K-9 unit failed to find the suspects. They're described as two black men: 

  • 1st male [armed suspect] was 5’6”, 150lbs, with a medium build. Last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants.
  • 2nd male was 6’0”, 160lbs, with a medium build. Last seen wearing all dark, possibly black, clothing.

    How about the time frame this happened in? I park there everyday, these assholes pull on me they better get ready for the shock of their lives.
