House Boat Burglarized Near Belmont Bay
Owners reportedly saw suspects running off the boat Monday
Police are looking for two white males who allegedly burglarized a house boat Monday near the 500 block of Harbor Side Street in Woodbridge.
Prince William County police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said police responded at 4:07 a.m. Sept. 3 to a call reporting a burglary in progress.
"Boat owners reported to police that they were asleep on the boat when they heard noises coming from an upper deck," Perok said. "Upon checking out the noise, the owners saw the suspects running off of the boat. No items were reported missing."
Police are looking for two men between 16 and 20 years old. One man was described as 5-foot-8, weighing about 150 pounds, with short brown hair. He was last seen wearing a light colored shirt and tan cargo pants. There was no description for the second man.

What color/race were the burglars? Just asking because you have no problem stating the race when a crime is committed by a black or hispanic person(s)! What's up with that?

Debra,
The descriptions of suspects are provided to us by the Prince William County Police. It is their distinction, not ours. As noted in the first sentence, police are looking for two white males.
