Craft Show Brings Thousands to Occoquan
The booths were filled with handmade wares.
The streets of Occoquan were filled with shoppers and vendors on Sept. 24 for the first day of the Occoquan Fall Arts and Crafts Show.
Mayor Earnie Porta said he's not sure what the final numbers will be, but that previous shows in the past couple of years have brought in 10,000 to 15,000 shoppers, and this fall's show seemed to be on track to fall in that range.
The craft show is open again today from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
For a detailed list of local merchants, crafters, food vendors, and commercial vendors, visit the Occoquan Craft Show's website.
The craft show shuts down the roads in the historic district, so check directions and parking instructions.
