Crime Blotter: Woodbridge-Area Burglaries

Local homeowners recently reported jewelry, a gaming console, clothing, shoes and other items missing.

 

Woodbridge area residents reported the following apparently unrelated burglaries over the past week. 

Dec. 11: Police responded to a call from a homeowner on the 15000 block of Illinois Road. The homeowner said that the burglary occurred between 6 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. Nov. 30,  and reported a gaming console, accessories, clothing, shoes and jewelry missing. The values was about $6,700. Police said there were no signs of forced entry. 

Dec. 11: Police responded to a report of a burglary on the 2900 block of Woodburn Court at 6:32 p.m. The homeowner said that it occurred between 10:15 a.m. and 6:20 p.m. that day. Entry was probably made through an unsecure basement window, and $980 worth of jewelry was reported missing.
