Dale City Man Charged With Striking Woodbridge Woman in the Face

The incident reportedly happend Sept. 13.

 

Police have charged Dale City resident Jose Rico Jr., with malicious wounding after a Woodbridge woman said she had been hit in the face, Prince William County police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said. 

Police responded to Minnieville and Elm Farm roads on Sept. 14 at 3:13 p.m. for a report of a domestic incident. 

"The victim, a 26-year-old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that on Sept. 13, she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were driving in the area above when a verbal altercation ensued," Perok said. "At one point, the accused stopped the vehicle and struck the victim in the face."

After an investigation, police got an arrest warrant for Rico and arrested him on Sept. 15. He was charged with malicious wounding. His court date and bond information is unavailable.

Something is always missing from a story, never the less, Rico can't put his hands on people, that's against the law, I'm sure by now he has realized, what a mistake he has made , because now he is the one thats in jail.
