After a week of red flag fire warnings and elevated wildfire threats, Friday is much the same.
The National Weather Service forecast calls for winds to remain below 10 miles per hour Friday, but relative humidity and fuel moisture is low.
The relative humidity is forecast to pick up this weekend as the winds turn southernly, said NWS.
As such, it makes the conditions ideal for spreading wildfires. Outside burning is banned in Virginia until April 30.
