On Oct. 31, Lake Ridge resident Marco Antonio Ruiz was arrested and charged with 10 counts of child pornography.

This concluded an investigation begun on Feb. 20 by the Northern Virginia/D.C. Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the Prince William County Police. On May 31, an executed search warrant at Ruiz's home on Ogilvie Court in Woodbridge resulted in the seizure of a computer, VHS tapes, DVDs, CDS containing child pornography and other documents.

Ruiz's court date information is unavailable. He is being held on a $25,000 secured bond.
