With tonight's Lake Ridge Community Swim Club Board meeting, the LRCSC and Lake Ridge Lancers move one step closer to completing the negotiations for a possible return of the Lancers team to their longtime home for the 2013 season.
Tonight's meeting is for the LRCSC board only. After informing the Lancers that the pool was closing its doors to the White Division Championship winning team on July 30, the LRCSC reversed its decision a few days later and invited the Lancers to return on Aug. 3.
The Lancers have not yet made an official decision to return, but leaders on both sides remain optimistic that they can come to an agreement.
