Man Charged With Peeping Into Lake Ridge Home

Rene Cruz was arrested Jan. 31.

Early in the morning of Jan. 31, police arrested Rene Cruz, 28, of Lake Ridge, and charged him with peeping into a dwelling.

Police initially responded to the 2900 block of Jamestown Court after a caller reported that an unknown man was peering into a neighbor's house on Greenhall Drive.

When police arrived, they reportedly found the accused standing on a plastic chair to see into a residence on Jamestown Court. Police said that the accused then picked up the chair and tried to run away by going over a fence.

Police arrested Cruz without incident. His court date is unavailable and he is being held without bond.
