Multiple Gunshots Reportedly Fired Near Dale City Home
Dale City man was subsequently arrested and charged.
Police arrested a Dale City man Sunday night after his neighbors reported hearing several gunshots near his house, Prince William County police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.
Terrel Xavier Downing, 24, has been charged with reckless handling of a firearm. He is being held on a $3000 secured bond.
Police initially responded to a shots fired call for the 14300 block of Ferndale Road in Dale City on Jan. 27 at 10:15 p.m.
"Several callers reported hearing multiple gunshots in the area," Perok said.
When the officers arrived, they found the location of the reported gunshots.
"The investigation revealed that the accused was involved in a verbal altercation with another member of the residence. The altercation took place in front of the residence," Perok said. "During the encounter, the accused fired a handgun into the air."
No one was hurt and no property was damaged.
Downing's court date is March 19.

It's a shame that idiots live so darn close to my family. I guess he forgot the rule that "what goes up, must come down" and could potentially kill someone.
