The former reality television star, notorious for allegedly crashing a White House state dinner, is currently being sued by the commonwealth in connection with his winery tour business.

Occoquan attorney Charles Roberts, who is currently representing Tareq Salahi in a lawsuit against Salahi's wife, Michaele, and legendary rock band Journey, will soon help Salahi explore the idea of running as a Republican for the position of Virginia governor, InsideNova reports.

Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli is currently representing the commonwealth in a lawsuit targeting Salahi in connection with his winery tour business.

Salahi and his wife first rocketed to notoriety when they allegedly crashed a 2009 state dinner at the White House held in honor of Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. In 2010, the couple was featured in Bravo television show The Real Housewives of D.C.
