Police Car Catches Fire in Lake Ridge
No one was injured, but the car was badly damaged.
A Prince William County police officer narrowly avoided serious injury today when his cruiser caught on fire near Cotton Mill Road, police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said on the PWC Police Department Facebook page.
The officer was responding to a call when the cruiser caught fire. No one was injured, and though the car was seriously damaged, no other property was affected.
The fire's cause is still being investigated, Perok said.
