A local man was stabbed in the back at a weekend party in Woodbridge, Prince William County Police said. 

The the 31-year-old Dumfries man got into a physical fight with other people at the party on the 13900 block of Rope Drive on Oct. 13. Police responded to a call at 5:08 a.m., after someone stabbed the man in the back with an unknown object. 

The man was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. He was unable to provide a description of the attackers.
