Police have arrested three Woodbridge men after another man reported that he had been tied up and beaten in his own home, Prince William County police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said. 

Early in the morning Feb. 16, police responded to the report of a burglary and an assault on Occoquan Road near Old Bridge Road.

"The victim, a 56-year-old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was sleeping in his residence when two unknown men entered through an unlocked door and demanded money," Perok said. "During the encounter, the men bound the victim with zip-ties and struck him with an unknown blunt object. The men then fled the area in a vehicle. No property was taken. The victim was able to get lose from the restraints and contact police."

Police found an unoccupied vehicle that had crashed into a pole near Minnieville and Old Bridge Road.

"A police K-9 was utilized in the search for the suspects. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries," Perok said.

Violent Crimes Bureau detectives identified two suspects reportedly involved in this incident: Markus Terell Gardner, 24, and Jotham Ceboduro Phillips, 23. Detectives also found a third suspect, Roderick Sean Bolden, 24. Each is currently facing a burglary charge.

"Members of the Bike Team were able to locate and arrest all three men without incident. This incident does not appear to be random," Perok said. 

All three were arrested Feb. 16 and charged with burglary. Their court date is unavailable, and they were held without bond.
