Maria Sinnott of Lil Bit of Posh in Occoquan has made a name for herself in the small town with her focus on friendly customer service. In 2013, she wants to take customer service at the clothing and accessories shop to the next level. 

The center stand in the store will now be full of ready-to-go gift bags.

"Everybody has a very hectic schedule," Sinnott said. Customers may sometimes miss special events because they don't have time to go out and buy a gift. "People can just come here, and they're going to find unique gifts." 

Customers can also call ahead to order a custom gift bag, with their desired theme and price range — most gift bags fall between $35 and $95.

"The bag will be ready for you with a balloon and greeting card. In five minutes, you are out the door," Sinnott said. "What I'm trying to create is a one-stop shop." 

In March, Sinnott will also start a mail delivery service for the Occoquan and Woodbridge areas. After she closes the store, she'll do a few customer deliveries in the area. 

Sinnott said Lil Bit of Posh is defined by fun, fashion and beauty. 

"When people come here, I want people to have fun," she said. "I've been in the fashion industry all my life. I've been in the jewelry industry since I was 19 years old. And the beauty I believe in is the beauty that comes from within and is reflected on the outside." 

Sinnott likes classic pieces that never go out of style. She offers second opinions to customers who are unsure about an accessory or a piece of clothing.

"Everybody has an inner beauty within. I like to bring it out," she said. "When the customer leaves, they give me a big hug. I'm going to make you smile one way or another."
