Suspects in Dumfries Homicide Considered Armed and Dangerous
Prince William County Police are looking for Christopher Jonathon Tolliver and Douglas Jason Tolliver in a case that is now classified as a murder.
Two Dumfries brothers are the primary suspects in the shooting death of a local woman, and should be considered armed and dangerous, Prince William County Police said.
Officers are also looking for a third unidentified male suspect in the Thursday death of Tasheka Lashon Leavell, 35, of Dumfries. Leavell was found dead at the scene on Washington Street from gunshot wounds to the upper body.
Police said that the two brothers, Christopher Jonathon Tolliver 27, of Washington Street, and Douglas Jason Tolliver, 29, of Jonathan Court, knew the victim. The two are wanted on first-degree murder charges.
"The investigation revealed that both suspects were involved in the killing of the victim following a previous encounter," Officer Jonathan Perok, a spokesman for the department, said in a press release.
Police obtained warrants for the Tollivers' arrest and executed search warrants for both brothers at their homes. They did not find either brother.
Police continue to investigate the case and have now classified it as a murder.

Where did you hear that? The police told us the third brother was caught, but I haven't heard the two mentioned here were captured.
