Taste of Lake Ridge Is Delicious Fun for the Whole Community

Lake Ridge residents enjoyed samples from local food vendors during LRPRA's Taste of Lake Ridge.

Hundreds of area residents came to the Tall Oaks Community Center parking lot on Tuesday evening to sample delicious fare during annual .  The event gives community members the opportunity to become familiar with area restaurants and specialty food stores.

Local food vendors offered two to four dishes from their menus at a rate of one or two tickets per portion.  The LRPRA Recreation Department sold tickets for 50 cents each.   Twenty-five tickets could also be purchased for $10.

The event drew both first-time and returning customers.  Heather Albert and her two children, Sanjiv and Aaliya, attend Taste of Lake Ridge every year.  “It’s dinner without having to make dinner. I love it,” she said.
