Two Laptops Stolen From BMK Engineering in Lake Ridge

Laptops, other items worth about $7,000.

Employees at BMK Engineering, Inc., in Lake Ridge, recently reported a burglary and the loss of $7,000 worth of equipment to police, Prince William County police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.

The employees told police a burglar broke into the business between 5:30 p.m. Dec. 6 and 2:40 p.m. Dec. 7.

When police responded to BMK Engineering on Tacketts Mill Drive at 3 p.m. Dec. 7, they found the front door had been pried open. Police believe the burglar most likely entered that way.

The burglar reportedly stole two laptops and other items, all worth about $7,000.
