Unknown Person Fires at Occupied House in Woodbridge

A bullet hit a second floor window sill.

An unknown person reportedly fired at an occupied house on Belfry Lane in Woodbridge early Wednesday morning, Prince William County police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.

The person fired one round at the house, leaving a bullet in a windowsill on the second floor. When police responded at 12:25 a.m., they canvassed the neighborhood. No one had seen the person who reportedly fired at the house, but the neighbors said they had heard gunshots and the sound of a fast-moving vehicle driving away from the area.

No other property was damaged, and no one was injured.

I live on Belfry Lane, in the 3400 block. I am very concerned about this shooting,...especially the exact house number, where the shooting took place. Thank you. Kathryn McNeely
