Wentwood Lane Shooting Leaves One Victim With Shattered Spine

The other victim had a shattered leg bone.

The Aug. 28 Wentwood Lane shooting has left one victim with a shattered spine and punctured lung, and another victim with a shattered leg bone, according to a criminal complaint filed in Prince William County General District Court.

Police charged Theo Claridge and Trevon Tucker with aggravated malicious wounding on Aug. 29.

A police investigation found that the victims and the accused had reportedly been involved in a dispute, Prince William County police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.

The 20-year-old victim was shot in the chest, and the 26-year-old victim was shot in the leg.

The victim with the shattered spine will likely never fully recover.

"The prognosis is he will never walk again," the complaint read.
