“Choices” free course rescheduled to start Jan. 22 at House of Mercy

MANASSAS, Va. – “Choices,” a free 12-week course on how to make better choices to improve your quality of life, has been rescheduled to begin Wednesday, Jan. 22, at the House of Mercy, a nonprofit humanitarian organization located at 8170 Flannery Court in Manassas. The one-hour classes are every Wednesday at 10 a.m.

The program, originally slated to start Jan. 8, is offered by Catholics for Housing, Inc., a Dumfries-based nonprofit organization that provides affordable housing opportunities to individuals and families throughout Northern Virginia.

The course offers guidance to help increase participants’ potential for employment and to manage their money more effectively, as well as to feel better physically and emotionally and to improve their relationships, according to House of Mercy Assistant Director Ann Cimini.

“The classes will help you look at where you are and provide help in deciding where you want to be,” she said. “They’ll help you choose where you want to make changes, take reasonable chances and make a better life for you and your family.”
