The Virginia Lottery is making one last effort to reach out the the unknown winner of the Virginia’s New Year’s Millionaire Raffle drawing on Jan. 1.
The unclaimed prize is worth $1 million, but the prize expires at 5 p.m. Monday, June 30.
The ticket was purchased at the 7-Eleven at 13304 Occoquan Road. The winner can contact the Virginia Lottery at 804-692-7777 or 703-494-1501.
If left unclaimed, the money will go to the state Literary Fund and used for upgrading technology in schools, teacher retirement funding and other needs, according to a lottery release.
