Weather: Below-Average Temps Through Mid-Week

Isolated thunderstorms may rumble through this week, clearing by Friday.

After Friday's severe thunderstorms, forecasters are calling for fairly smooth weather for the week ahead, although there is a possibility for isolated thunderstorms until Friday.

Along with possible come-and-go showers all week, temperatures are also expected to dip beginning Tuesday, with highs just in the low 70s, continuing through Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.

On the rain front, there is a 20-40 percent chance of showers all week, including that possibility of thunderstorms, according to the National Weather Service.

Friday is shaping up to be the best weather day this week if forecasts hold, with a high of about 75 degrees and only a 10 percent chance of rain according to The Weather Channel.
