Weather: Below-Average Temps Through Mid-Week

After Friday's severe thunderstorms, forecasters are calling for fairly smooth weather for the week ahead, although there is a possibility for isolated thunderstorms until Friday.

Friday is shaping up to be the best weather day this week if forecasts hold, with a high of about 75 degrees and only a 10 percent chance of rain according to The Weather Channel.

Temperatures will climb into the 80s on Saturday and Sunday with only a 10 percent chance of rain.

The average high in June for Northern Virginia is 84 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
