What Would You Improve in the Woodbridge Area in 2013?

If you could make a New Year's resolution for the Woodbridge area, what would it be?

More than 45 percent of Americans make a resolution every year, according to statisticbrain.com. Some people vow to live a healthier lifestyle, others promise to spend more time with family, and many say they will try to save money.

As millions of Americans make resolutions to improve their lives, what could we do right here in Woodbridge to make it an even better place to live?

Do you have suggested improvements for Potomac Mills Mall or another local shopping center? Do you have a suggested replacement for an empty storefront like RoomStore? Do you have specific improvements in mind for Prince William County sidewalks or trails?

What is on your Woodbridge wish list? What is one thing you would improve in 2013?

Tell us in the comment section below or blog about why you love living here!

Create a walking/biking trail network. The existing trails don't connect to each other nor to likely destinations; and there is no safe pedestrian crossing on route 1. There should be overpasses for foot traffic.

Woodbridge resident: Have a sweep,as was done in the Woods, Update codes that need to be changed as buisnesses in residential areas ; large trucks removed from roads promptly: A volunteer group of citizens could review the codes and change them.

There are plans to widen PW Parkway to 6 lanes from Minnieville to Old Bridge. It was approved in the 2006 bond referendum. Make sure to reach out to your local representative to make sure they know the project is important to you.

Vinny Darby....Thanks for the information on the widening of PW Parkway! You made my day! Now I'm going to know that one day it will be fixed and I won't get cut off so often!
