Bites Nearby: Presto Pizza

Because a trip to Italy is so expensive, you might as well try something close to it.

Presto Pizza brings all the fine cusine of an Italian trip for people in the area.  A family-operated business owned and operated by Pina, Tom and the family, the restaurant brings Italy to Lake Ridge.

Presto Pizza has buffalo chicken wings, salads, strombolis, calzones, pastas, subs, sandwhiches and of course pizza. Food is available for deliver, pick-up, dine-in or even catering.

If you make it there between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, take advantage of the Deli Deal: A 9-inch sub of your choice including potato chips and a 20-ounce bottled drink for $8.99. Take advantage of their Everyday Special where you don't have to pay for any of your toppings after the fourth one.  Feel freel to load up on as many toppings as your stomach desires.

While the pizzas including the Pizza Margherita (the queen of pizza), the Quattro Stagioni (four sections representing the four seasons), and the Presto! Special (signature pizza smothered with pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms and black olives) are all delicious, don't ignore the delicious Classic Italian which you can have prepared hot or cold.  The sandwich has ham, cooked salami, provolone, italian dressing, lettuce and other fixings upon request.

Is your stomach growling? Here are the details:

I so appreciate Rich Anderson's presence on this committee. My biggest question is why didn't anyoneRead More have a plan for jobs to take effect if these cuts happened. Did anyone calculate the expense to the economy that would occur from Sequestration or plan to offset that expense?

Stopped by for lunch yesterday and had the turkey-avocado BLT with sweet tea and fries -- delicious.Read More Dave and Eric, the new managers, are good, hardworking guys who I wish all the best in their new venture. As Earnie said, Dave and Sarah have developed a diverse and interesting menu, with some pleasant surprise offerings, the prices are reasonable and they're going to be open seven days a week for breakfast to dinner, something many other Occoquan restaurants don't do. Give them a try, and tell them Chuck the Foodie sent you.
