Haunted Occoquan Holds Special Mamie Davis Tour
Tour guide Kathleen "Kay" Pietrewicz will give a historical tour focused on the life of Occoquan legend Mamie Davis.
Haunted Occoquan's spring ghost tour season has begun, and tour guide Kathleen "Kay" Pietrewicz will give a tour this Friday on the life of Occoquan legend Mamie Davis.
"I just thought we'd remember her," Pietrewicz said.
A former Occoquan Mayor and longtime pillar of the town, Davis' birthday was this week. The tour will begin at Mamie Davis Park, which was named after Davis when she set up a fund for the upkeep of the park.

No reservation is necessary. To go on the tour, simply show up at the park at 7:30 p.m. For more information about the tour, visit the event page.
Pietrewicz, who plans to have more historical tours this year, may give other tours on beloved former members of Occoquan.
