Olde Dominion Wine Shoppe Moves to New Location in Occoquan

The merchant will hold an open house at their new location.

The Olde Dominion Wine Shoppe has moved to a new location along Mill Street in Occoquan.

The owners are celebrating the move to the former Simply Country location at 311 Mill Street with an open house this evening.Β 

The open house event will feature a tasting of new wines and cheeses from 5 to 8 p.m. Mayor Earnie Porta will be the guest pourer at 6:30 p.m.

Wines include Gemin Prosecco from Italy, Reata Chardonnay from California, Brandsen Malbec from Argentina, and Burnley Spicy Rivanna from Virginia. The tasting will also have Oak Spring Dairy raw cow's milk cheeses from Upperville, and Olli Salame from Mechanicsville.Β Get 10 percent off a purchase of three or more wines, and 20 percent off a case of wine.

Tastings and samples continue on Saturday and Sunday. The Olde Dominion Wine Shoppe's holiday hours are noon-8 p.m. today, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. on Dec. 22, noon-5 p.m. on Dec. 23 and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. on Christmas Eve. The Shoppe is closed on Christmas Day, and is open noon-6 p.m. from Dec. 26 through Dec. 28.Β
