Gander Mountain will be opening a new store in Woodbridge.

With the slogan “We live outdoors,” the retailer plans to open this fall at 14041 Worth Ave. in Woodbridge – in what longtime residents know as the former Incredible Universe electronics store building near Potomac Mills.

“Gander Mountain’s newest store will feature one of the largest selections of new and used firearms in Virginia, together with the best selection of gear and accessories for hunting, fishing, camping, boating and archery,” according to a company press release.

The Gander Mountain chain was established in 1960 and there are now more than 127 stores in 24 states. The company’s executive offices are based in Minnesota. Other Virginia locations include Charlottesville, Fredericksburg, Roanoke and Winchester.

The address will be 14041 Worth Ave. in Woodbridge.

Wow - another place in Virginia for stupid people to get weapons. None of us are safe anymore.

Proud to have freedom to buy a weapon. It is stupid liberals like you that want your way or no way. You can choose not to shop there. Agree to disagree is not part of liberal thinking.

Glad to see it. Another place where responsible Americans can buy their Constitutionally protected sporting gear.
