Patient First Replaces Shell Gas Station at Tackett's Mill

The medical center will open in spring or early summer of 2013.

The site of the Shell gas station in the Tackett's Mill shopping center is the future home of a new Patient First location, according to Tara Ghavam, a spokesperson for Patient First in Northern Virginia.

The health facility will open in spring or early summer of next year, Ghavam said.

After leasing the property, Patient First is replacing the existing building with the new facility.

"The medical center will be similar to our nearby locations in Manassas and Garrisonville," Ghavam said. "The facility will be approximately 7000 foot squared and feature 12 treatment rooms, an on-site lab, on-site digital x-ray, and on-site prescription drugs."

PWC's rapid growth means a greater need for more health care options, she said. "The services Patient First offers have been well received in our other Northern Virginia locations. As we identify more areas that have a need for our services, we plan to grow to meet that demand."

Patient First in Lake Ridge will be open 8 a.m.- 10 p.m. every day of the year and "will operate on a walk-in, non-appointment basis," Ghavam said.
