Progress Photos: Spiral Creations to Reopen Before Chocolate Walk

The renovations are nearly complete.

After a thorough carpet cleaning, a few light fixture installations, and some shelving and organization, Spiral Creations will be ready to reopen before the Historic Occoquan Chocolate Walk.

Spiral Creations owner Kathy Alden closed the shop in early January for major structural renovations. After Kelly Campbell vacated the former Kelly's Artbox space, Spiral Creations has expanded. The wall between the two shops was torn down, the walls have been repainted, and the back room in the former Kelly's Artbox will now be Alden's office.

The shop is still closed for the duration of the renovations. If you're a die-hard Spiral Creations customer, take a look at her Etsy shop. To shop for jewelry, tryJerry's Occoquan Jewelers, Jewelry Designs by Melissa Dent, or Quinn's Goldsmith. To shop for vintage or antique items, try Occoquan Antiques. To shop for clothing or accessories, try Details, Lil Bit of Posh, or Polka Dot Divas. And to take a jewelry class, stop by Off the Beading Path.
