Dale City Lions Donate a Park Bench

Dale City Lions Club purchased a park bench and helped install it at the Dale City Commuter Lot on 12.19.2013.

The Commuter Lot is home to the Dale City Winter Farmers Market and Dale City Farmer's Market, as well as the central area for the culmination of the Annual Independence Day Parade.

Dale City Lions hope the bench will be used by folks attending these events and any passerby who might want to rest a bit.

Lion President, Joe Brown thought it may be ideal for people walking back from Center Plaza with grocery bags and at eight foot long, the bench is roomy enough to seat five people easily.

The bench was purchased from the MASON NECK LIONS CLUB and delivered by Joe Chudzik. Benches are available for purchase by the general public, not just Lion Clubs. and the is a copy of the flyer in the photos.

Dale City Lions meet the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month at the Prince William Ice Center. For more information, like our Facebook page, follow us on Twitter, or visit our web page: http://www.e-clubhouse.org/sites/dalecity/
