Here's to the Next 25 Years!

The Prince William Committee of 100 recently gathered at the Wyndham Garden Hotel in Manassas to celebrate "Exploring Tough Issues for a Quarter of a Century."

The evening began with musical selections by the Old Bridge Chamber Orchestra's String Quartet while guests met and mingled. Our Committee of 100 President, Denny Daugherty, welcomed guests, dignitaries and members to an evening packed with presentations, reflections from past speakers, a Keynote Speaker, Mark Segraves, and a champagne toast.

After enjoying a delicious dinner Collin Davenport presented a United States Congressional Resolution, prepared by Congressman Gerry Connolly.  Many other recognitions followed, including commendations from the Prince William Boards of County Supervisors, presented by Marty Nohe, and recognition from  Manassas Park Councilmen, Preston Banks and Suhas Naddoni.
Some of the past presidents of C-100, Keith Scarborough, Mark Moorstein and Roy Redmond reflected on C-100 history.

Mark Segraves, WRC (Channel 4 ) and WNEW (99.1) spoke about the changing face of news and the impact of social media.

Guests, led by former C-100 president, Bob Allen enjoyed a champagne toast and were treated to an audio/video presentation by Antonio Merrick.

The evening culminated with elections for the 2014-2015 season.
