These performances of The Vagina Monologues are part of the 2012 V-Day initiative. V-Day is a global movement to end violence against women and girls that raises funds and awareness through benefit productions of Playwright/Founder Eve Ensler. The Vagina Monologues creates a true and profound portrait of how violence against women and children affects every one of us. The performance is filled with laughter and tears as the actresses and audience together experience what it means for women to inhabit their bodies, to love their bodies, and to take a stand to stop violence.
