On Oct. 17 and 18, Occoquan will be the host site for the Potomac Heritage National Scenic Trail Network Roundtable & Heritage Tourism Workshop, sponsored by the Northern Virginia Regional Commission (NVRC). As many of you know, Occoquan has become a de facto trail junction, with five current trails (U.S. Bike Route 1, the East Coast Greenway, the Occoquan Watertrail, the Potomac National Scenic Heritage Trail, and the Fairfax Cross County Trail) passing through or near the Town. I so appreciate Rich Anderson's presence on this committee. My biggest question is why didn't anyone…Read More have a plan for jobs to take effect if these cuts happened. Did anyone calculate the expense to the economy that would occur from Sequestration or plan to offset that expense?

As Earnie said, Dave and Sarah have developed a diverse and interesting menu, with some pleasant surprise offerings, the prices are reasonable and they're going to be open seven days a week for breakfast to dinner, something many other Occoquan restaurants don't do. Give them a try, and tell them Chuck the Foodie sent you.
