Today's Snowfall May Leave Roads Slippery
A weather alert has been issued for the greater D.C. area, including Lake Ridge and Occoquan.
This afternoon's snow may leave local roads slippery and hazardous tonight, according the National Weather Service.
Though the snow is barely sticking to the roads, the thin layer of slush and puddles make the roads slick.
As temperatures drop, the wet roads may freeze, making driving even more dangerous.
