Orienteering at Occoquan Regional Park

Come join our friendly group for hike or run in this open park! We offer orienteering courses suitable for all ages and all skill levels, from complete beginner to advanced elite runner. Register anytime between 11am - 1pm, start your course anytime between 11 - 1:30pm, and check back in no later than 3pm.

Like adventure racing, but on a smaller and less demanding scale, orienteering is a fun and challenging map-based activity in which you set out to find a series of checkpoints. Beginner instruction is offered (at no cost), and pre-registration is not necessary or even possible - even if the Patch ticket system implies it! - so feel free to just come as you are and try it.

Full event details are at the Quantico Orienteering Club (QOC) website at URL www.QOCweb.org, or find us on Facebook.
