 Lake Ridge-Occoquan  See map

Watercolor artist Marcia Weidler fell in love with the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia many years ago.  Enjoying the ability to capture their tranquility and beauty, she paints scenes of the mountains and rural valleys frequently.  This exhibit focuses on the changing seasons in the mountains, and the majority of the work is on a small scale or in miniature.  The artist’s work has been shown in many juried exhibits and is held by collectors throughout the United States. Weidler is director and cofounder of The Loft Gallery.

I so appreciate Rich Anderson's presence on this committee. My biggest question is why didn't anyoneRead More have a plan for jobs to take effect if these cuts happened. Did anyone calculate the expense to the economy that would occur from Sequestration or plan to offset that expense?

Stopped by for lunch yesterday and had the turkey-avocado BLT with sweet tea and fries -- delicious.Read More Dave and Eric, the new managers, are good, hardworking guys who I wish all the best in their new venture. As Earnie said, Dave and Sarah have developed a diverse and interesting menu, with some pleasant surprise offerings, the prices are reasonable and they're going to be open seven days a week for breakfast to dinner, something many other Occoquan restaurants don't do. Give them a try, and tell them Chuck the Foodie sent you.
