To Storm or Not to Storm: That is the Question! We, at Fetch, are keeping our Paws crossed....

Howl-o-ween Event: Trick or Treat for Dogs in Occoquan, sponsored by FETCH Dog & Cat Bakery at 305 Mill st... Sunday october 28 from 1-3 pm

That SANDY aka 'Frankenstorm' will refrain from deluging our Festivities tomorrow! We've got nearly 120 dogs signed up--and oh, yes, their owners too!--for our 3rd  Annual Trick or Treat Occoquan event this Sunday from 1-3 pm.

Occoquan merchants will be providing these Costumed Canines with the yummy treats that we've supplied. The money raised this year will go towards helping to find happy homes for mis-treated and abused animals who need a second chance to live the comfortable lives they deserve.  Both the Caring Hearts Rescue and the Forever Home Foundation will be on site!

C'mon down and join in the fun.... We are on the Porch at 305 Mill St....just past the Virginia Grill...and we'll be watching for you!

P.S. IF IF IF...the weather happens to be incredibly severe, we'll re-do this event next weekend...But... we're betting that we'll get just a bit of wind!

I so appreciate Rich Anderson's presence on this committee. My biggest question is why didn't anyoneRead More have a plan for jobs to take effect if these cuts happened. Did anyone calculate the expense to the economy that would occur from Sequestration or plan to offset that expense?

Stopped by for lunch yesterday and had the turkey-avocado BLT with sweet tea and fries -- delicious.Read More Dave and Eric, the new managers, are good, hardworking guys who I wish all the best in their new venture. As Earnie said, Dave and Sarah have developed a diverse and interesting menu, with some pleasant surprise offerings, the prices are reasonable and they're going to be open seven days a week for breakfast to dinner, something many other Occoquan restaurants don't do. Give them a try, and tell them Chuck the Foodie sent you.
