Occoquan River Communities' Destinations series

On Monday, July 25 we’ll board the Miss Rivershore in Old
Town Occoquan for a evening tour of the Occoquan River.  A highlight of the evening will be an opportunity to tour the unique development of Belmont Bay from a perspective that few people experience – the river.

Our host and co-sponsor for the evening will be Preston
Miller – a member of the ORC board of directors and a managing member of Belmont Bay, L.C., the ownership and development entity responsible for completion of the project.

The tour will last approximately 2 hours and is free to
members.  The cost to non-members is $10, or free if they join ORC that evening.  Here are the details of the event:

About Belmont Bay

The Belmont Bay development was
started by Preston Caruthers and his family in 1993.  The 325-acres that
comprise the Belmont Bay development have been developed using Best Management
Practices to responsibly construct nearly 1,100 residential units, an 18-hole
golf course, a 158-slip marina, and the Belmont Town Center.  Within the
town center, planning continues for the future build out of the remaining mixed
uses that incorporate the same principles and essential guidelines.
Preston Miller is a grandson of Preston Caruthers, and is a managing
member of Belmont Bay, L.C., the ownership and development entity responsible
for the completion of the project.
