Why Go: Admission includes: Free pumpkin, pumpkin decorating, hayride, train ride, moonbounce, slides, petting farm, haunted ghost town, picnic areas, haymaze. Pony Rides $2, food/store/garden center.  Located on large farm near Potomac Mills at I-95 exit 152B, left at 2nd light Van Buren, right at stop sign, Mine Rd to 17504 Mine Road.  Website: www.oldmineranch.net

When/Where: Oct. 21, 7:30 p.m. Epiphany Lutheran Church, 13495 Keytone Road, Dale City.

Why Go: The Celebration Singers present “Musical Potpourri”: a selection of their favorites, including a tribute to the Armed Forces.

Why Go: Come on out to  with your child (2-7 years old) and watch a movie based off of a book.

Why Go: Need volunteer hours? Volunteers of all ages are invited to come out to  and spend the morning at the park. There will be indoor and outdoor projects to clean up the parks and facilities. Be sure to call ahead to learn about receiving community service hours for various programs.
