Arson Blamed for May 2 Townhouse Fire

Stephen McQueen, Jr., was related to the occupants of one of the townhouses.

On May 5, Stephen McQueen, Jr., was arrested and charged with arson after the May 2 fire that caused $60,000 of damage to two townhouses in the 3400 block of Caledonia Circle in Lake Ridge, according to Deputy Fire Marshal Joe Robertson.

“He is related to the people who lived in [one of the townhouses],” Robertson said. “It was the McQueen residence that was on fire.”

It is not known whether McQueen lived at or near either of the residences that were set ablaze.

The Prince William County Fire Marshal’s office conducted the investigation, with the assistance of the Prince William County Police. Robertson could not comment on whether drugs or alcohol were factors in the arson.
