On July 18, a homeowner in the 3200 block of Ridge View Court in Lake Ridge reported an attempted burglary to police, according to police spokesperson Jonathan Perok.
The homeowner reported that between 9:45 p.m. on July 17 and 8 a.m. on July 18, someone tried to break into the house through the rear sliding glass door. The screen in front of the door had been pulled off track, but the glass door remained shut and locked. No items were missing.
