Attempted Burglary in Lake Ridge Prevented With Safety Latch

No items were missing.

On July 9, a homeowner in the 12700 block of Wood Hollow Drive in Lake Ridge reported an attempted burglary that occurred July 6, according to police spokesperson Jonathan Perok.

The homeowner told police that someone had tried to use a back patio door to break into her house between 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. on July 6 but that a safety latch had prevented entry. No items were missing.
