On Friday, the Panda Chinese Restaurant at Tacketts Mill in Lake Ridge was broken into for the fourth time in 13 months, Prince William County police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.
Police have not released any information to suggest the burglaries are connected. The first burglary happened between Nov. 23 and Nov. 25 of last year. The second burglary happened the night of Dec. 8, 2011. The third burglary happened the night of Jan. 10, 2012.
In all three burglaries, the burglar(s) entered the restaurant at night through a side window, which had been broken out, and reportedly stole an undisclosed amount of money.
In the most recent burglary, the restaurant owner told police that the burglary must have happened between 10 p.m. on Dec. 6 and 9:45 a.m. on Dec. 7. The burglar(s) most likely entered through a window which had been broken out, but so far, the restaurant has not reported any missing property.
