Burglar Steals Laptop, iPad From Lake Ridge Home

In a burglary reported Jan. 9, a laptop, iPad, and jewelry were reported missing.

On Jan. 9, a homeowner in the 4200 block of Marquis Place in Lake Ridge reported a burglary.

The homeowner told police that the burglar broke in between 11 a.m. and 1:20 p.m. on Jan. 9.

The homeowner reported that a laptop, an iPad, and jewelry at a total value of about $5600 had been stolen.

When police investigated at 1:40 p.m. that same day, they found that the burglar most likely got in by forcing open the front door.
