Dale City Man Charged With Robbery in Lake Ridge

On Sept. 24 a 26-year-old Stafford man was reportedly assaulted and robbed in the 4100 block of Old Bridge Road after he tried to stop an assault against a woman.

The victim told police that his attacker stole a backpack before fleeing the scene. The woman who had reportedly been assaulted also left the scene before police arrived, and her identity remains unknown. The victim had minor injuries from the attack.

When police responded at 11:46 p.m., witnesses provided a description of the accused. Police then arrested William Perry, 29, of Dale City, and charged him with strong arm robbery and two counts of destruction of property. His court date was Sept. 25 and he was held on a $2,500 secured bond.
