Driver Charged With Recklessness, Possession of Cocaine

Marc Allen Williams, 24, of Woodbridge, was also charged with felony eluding.

On Dec. 15, police arrested and charged Marc Williams, 24, of Woodbridge, with reckless driving and felony eluding after a caller in the 11900 block of San Ysidro Court reported at about 11:30 p.m. that the driver of a gold-colored Honda crashed onto his lawn and then continued down the road.

Police searched the area and found a gold-colored Honda near Mojave Lane. When police tried to stop the driver, the driver reportedly ignored the lights and siren and drove to Springwoods Drive, where he lost control and crashed the car. At this point, the car was no longer drivable.

Police said that the driver would not leave his car, and said that he tried once more to drive away. When police officers got him out of his car, he reportedly resisted arrest.

When the officers arrested him, they reportedly also found about five grams of cocaine on him.

According to the police report, he has been "charged with felony eluding, reckless driving, driving on a revoked license, resisting arrest and possession of a schedule I or II narcotic [cocaine]."

His court date is Feb. 24. He is being held without bond.
