In four unrelated burglaries reported Oct. 1, several laptops, gaming consoles and items of jewelry were reported missing from residences in Manassas, Lake Ridge, Dale City and Woodbridge.
- On Oct. 1 in the 15900 block of Donald Curtis Drive in Woodbridge, a homeowner reported to police a gaming console, camera, laptop and other items valuing a total of $5,000 were missing. The homeowner told police the burglary occurred between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. Police said there were no signed of forced entry into the residence but that a rear window was open.
- A camera, iPod, jewelry and other items totaling $5,000 in value were reported missing Oct. 1 from a residence in the 3300 block of Flint Hill Place in Woodbridge. Police said entry appeared to have been made through a rear window which had been broken out.
- In the 2300 block of Running Deer Road in Manassas, a homeowner reported Oct. 1 that jewelry, two laptops, two gaming consoles, related games, two TVs were missing. Items are valued at $16,000. Police believe entry was made through an unsecured rear window.
No items were reported missing Oct. 1 in the 5500 block of Neddleton Avenue in Woodbridge, but a rear glass door had been broken out.
