Gunman Robs Dumfries Shell Station

Police sent out a K-9 unit to search for suspects, but did not find anyone, according to Prince William County Police.

A gunman robbed a Shell Service Station in Dumfries Monday, taking the cash drawer with him on the way out, Prince William County Police said.

Police responded to the station on River Heritage Boulevard at 2:20 p.m., when employees reported the robbery. They told police that an unknown man had entered the store and approached the counter; then, once other customers left, he took out a gun and demanded money.

The second suspect is described as 18-122 years old, black, 5'10", 170 pounds, with a medium build.

The third man was about 5'8", 18-22 years old, black, with a medium build.
