Lake Ridge Man Arrested for Burglary, Forgery, and Grand Larceny

The accused pawned stolen jewelry from a Lake Ridge home on July 12 and was arrested July 25.

Lake Ridge resident Cedric Campbell, 22, was arrested July 25 for the from a Lake Ridge home in the 12700 block of Captains Cove, according to police spokesperson Jonathan Perok. 

After investigation, police found that Campbell had pawned the stolen jewelry on July 12 and cashed two checks for an undisclosed amount of money from a stolen checkbook on July 17 at July 21.

After a search warrant was issued, Campbell was arrested at his house in the 12300 block of Midsummer Lane in Lake Ridge. Police found other items from the same burglary in Campbell's house.

Campbell was charged with "one count of burglary, one count of grand larceny, one count of larceny with intent to sell, two counts of forgery, two counts of uttering, and two counts of obtaining money by false pretenses," according to the police report.

Campbell's court date is Aug. 24, and he is being held without bond.
